Become A Hospice Volunteer
According to the Hospice Foundation of America, there are more than 400,000 people across the United States currently serving as Hospice volunteers in their communities. People throughout Hampton Roads can become home Hospice volunteers with All-Heart Home Health & Hospice.
One of the missions of Hospice is to provide dignified, high-quality, compassionate care that enhances the lives of dying people.
Volunteers not only play an essential role in our daily operations, but have also done so throughout history. The first true modern Hospice was St. Christopher's, founded in a London suburb in 1967 by a group of volunteers, committed to making a profound difference in the lives of patients and families facing end-of-life care.
