Hospice Care Services
The primary goals of Hospice Care are to strive to relieve the pain and suffering of the dying, and to assist patients and families in making informed choices, within the parameters of law, individual conscience, and ethical health care practices.
Once a physician refers to All-Heart Hospice Care, the patient and family are contacted by All-Heart to assess the needs of the patient, the primary caregiver and the family. Hospice services are structured according to their needs, which may change over time.
Through this approach, All-Heart helps to enhance the patient and family‘s decision making and awareness of the choices available to them, which supports the quality of the patient’s remaining life. Hospice’s basic philosophy is based on the premise of neither hastening, nor postponing, death.
